i love beautiful days like today
days where the sun illuminates everything
and you feel so thankful to be living
days where i wake up to natasha bedingfield's song 'unwritten'
and decide from that moment on that it will be a good day
days where i can splatter paint in the art room with two amazing girls
and that feeling that, for a moment, time stands still
days where nathaniel comes over for help with his math homework
only to end up asleep on my floor--leaving me to write in my lj :)
days where getting a 70 on your math test isnt so bad
because you are already in such a good mood that nothing can bring you down
days where you meet up with two of your best friends at mcdonalds
to work on a talk you have thought about giving your entire life
days where kindergartener's tell you that you are 'small' :)

church last night was great
despite the fact that i almost fainted :/
not cool
then we went to the cheesecake factory
and when is the cheesecake factory not good?
hah. never. exactly
gosh i love my family.
i think that is part of the reason i like christmas so much
because you're forced to be with your family
and you learn to love all their little imperfections
ski retreat soon

on extreme home makeover tonight
there was this lady who's house was in an area hit by the hurricane
and a guy took her back to see her house from the shelter she was staying at
and she was so worried
that her pictures would be destroyed
because all she had time to grab
was her kids
and she found out that her house was still standing
and her pictures still in tact
and she was overjoyed.
and i realized im a lot like her
if i could save anything from my house
(besides my family of course)
then i would get my pictures
because even though memories are always in your heart
i think it helps to have that physical thing you can hold
and when u look at it
have a bunch of memories come rushing back to you
if i could be anywhere right now
id be back at world changers
with my roofing crew
in the intense heat
seeing miss mildred smile at those crazy kids who are fixing her roof for free
and having devotionals in her back yard
ahh i miss it
finals week
its gonna be rough
but christmas is soon
and skiing :)

this week was insane
thursday i had my ghp interview
i was more relaxed than i thought i'd be
and it was easier than i thought
but i dont think i did necessarily good or bad
i think i just did the best that i could in the moment
im proud of myself :)
game friday was insane
who can kick that far? i mean pleaseee
it's all trae's fault
but it was the funnest game so far i think
maybe the rainy one was funner
idk. i cant decide :/
SAT's were looooooong.
not bad though.
